How to connect the SEOmonitor MCP

Connect in three steps, two minutes.

01
Copy your API key
In SEOmonitor, open your profile and copy your API key. The assistant sees exactly the campaigns your account can see, nothing more. One key works across every assistant you connect, and regenerating it revokes them all at once.
02
Add the connector
Your personal connector URL is https://mcp.seomonitor.com/YOUR_API_KEY/mcp. There is nothing to install, you paste this URL once and the connection persists. Pick your assistant below for the exact steps:
03
Ask a question
Ask about your SEO or AI Search data in plain language.
Claude Desktop & claude.ai

Available on paid Claude plans (desktop app and claude.ai on the web).

  1. Open Settings → Connectors
  2. Click Add custom connector
  3. Name it SEOmonitor and paste your connector URL:
    https://mcp.seomonitor.com/YOUR_API_KEY/mcp
  4. Save. The tools appear in the composer’s connector menu — the first use of each tool asks for your approval.
Treat your connector URL like a password. It contains your API key and grants read access to your account’s campaign data. For now the MCP is read-only, so it cannot add, change or delete anything in your account. Do not paste your URL into shared documents or group chats. Regenerating your API key disconnects every assistant that uses the old URL.
Plans and availability

Available on the Pro plan.

Available on the paid Pro plan in SEOmonitor. Here’s what that means for the MCP:

  • Included in all Pro subscriptions at no extra cost.
  • No tier-based restrictions on the API.
  • You also need a paid plan on your AI assistant: a paid Claude plan, or ChatGPT Plus and above.
